The VIP maintenance window has been cancelled. We are working on an updated schedule and a new notification will be issued shortly.
Please be advised that the date/time for this maintenance has been changed. The impact however remains unchanged. Here is the updated schedule:
Updated Schedule
This release of VIP Authentication Services provides support for IPv6 IP addresses in headers and in parameters. You can use the IPv6 format for IP addresses anywhere you currently use the IPv4 format. VIP Enterprise Gateway does not currently support the IPv6 format.
See the VIP Authentication Services 2023.October.01 Release Notes for information about this update.
Symantec has also renewed the SSL certificates for the following API endpoints. These new SSL certificates chain to the DigiCert Global Root G2 CA. This DigiCert G2 root certificate is broadly embedded into the default trust root CA store of all popular web browsers, operating systems, and native programming platforms.
See the KB article, Required SSL certificate upgrade for Symantec VIP Services APIs, for more details.
