Our encryption partner Echoworx will be performing a scheduled maintenance, beginning July 28, 2022, starting at 19:00 UTC, for a duration of 2 hours.

Impact

There will be no impact for Email Security.cloud customers using Echoworx Encryption. All aspects of our service will continue to function as normal.

Key Improvements:

  • Inbound Document Decryption now available for Web Portal as well as PDF Secure Replies. When an external recipient composes a Secure Reply in the Portal with encrypted attachments, they will be prompted to provide the document password to deliver a decrypted version to the internal user’s mailbox. (This feature now supports native attachment types for MS Office XML, PDF and ZIP.

  • Decrypt inbound ZIP attachments The Attachment Decryption enterprise policy now applies to ZIP archives in addition to PDF and Microsoft Office XML documents. (Note: To prevent so-called ZIP-bomb attacks, The portal will reject archives that are more than 3 folders deep.)

  • PDF Reply-All limit has been increased. The number of recipients that can be included in a reply-all message has been increased.

  • A new Privacy Policy link is now highly visible and available any time from the Portal.

  • Common Password Database check has increased from 10,000 to 100,000 entries.

  • Expanded HTML attribute support for tables and lists in Web Portal messages

  • Various security & product fixes.
