Broadcom is proud to announce the immediate availability of WSS Agent 9.5.1.

To download this version, sign into the Cloud SWG portal and navigate to Connectivity > WSS Agent. The download is available in the Maintenance Release(s) portion of the Installers section.

Features and Improvements

• Supports traffic originating from Windows Hyper-V environments (Windows Subsystem for Linux 2, Microsoft Defender AppGuard)
• Adds a configuration option to use the system browser for SAML authentication
• Ability to allow certain traffic when in the “fail closed” state
• Stability improvements

Supported Environments

• 64-bit Windows 10 version 19H2 and later (Semi-Annual Servicing Channel) - including Windows 11
• macOS Monterey and later - including macOS Sonoma

Impact

Existing users will be prompted to upgrade to version 9.5.1 on November 14, 2023 if the “Prompt user to update” setting is enabled on the Connectivity > WSS Agent page.
