The Symantec Web Security Service Team will be decommissioning the old Shanghai VIP. The last day the old Shanghai VIP will be available for use is May 31, 2019. Prior to this date customers are urged to reconfigure their connections to use the new Shanghai VIP (222.126.180.164) that went live in January of this year.
As a reminder, the new Shanghai VIP retrieves content using the following source IP networks:
Action Required No action is required for customers using connectivity methods that rely on DNS or Symantec’s Cloud Traffic Controller such as Unified Agent or Proxy connections to proxy.threatpulse.net. Customers connecting via IPSec should transition to the new VIP as quickly as possible. The old VIP will only be available until May 31, 2019.
