Later this month, the Symantec Web Security Service Team will be announcing a new data center in Bucharest. This data center will be announced with a new VIP, which will be announced when the new data center is available for use.
The new data center will retrieve content using the following source IP networks: • 168.149.148.0/24
Customer Action No action is required for customers using connectivity methods that rely on DNS or Symantec’s Cloud Traffic Controller such as Unified Agent or Proxy connections to proxy.threatpulse.net. These connections will automatically be switched over to use the new Bucharest data center when it is announced in April. However, in preparation for connecting to the new data center, please ensure that any sourced-based access controls applied by you or your vendors are updated by April 19, 2019 to reflect the new source IP networks to ensure WSS traffic can pass unencumbered.
